The initial appointed Tax Appeal Board members shall serve until a successor has been appointed, or earlier death, resignation, or removal. Thereafter, each Tax Appeal Board member shall hold office for a term of one (1) year commencing January 1 and until a successor has been elected, or earlier death, resignation, or removal.
